Briefly about the State Forests
The total area of forests administerd by the State Forests – as of 1 January 2023 amounted to 7 134,4 thousand hectares, growing stock - 1 922 mln m3 with an average stand age of about 64 years. The average volume on afforested land is 275 m3/ha.
